One tool, one how-to, one warning

Three things worth five minutes this week. Each one is something you can do today, with tools you already have.

Try this

Turn your notes into a podcast with NotebookLM

Upload a few documents, a PDF or a web link to Google's NotebookLM, then ask for an Audio Overview. You get a short podcast-style conversation about your own sources, good for a commute or a walk. The answers point back to your documents, so you can check them.

How-to

A meeting summary you can trust

Works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot.

  1. Paste your notes or the transcript, and say who was in the meeting.
  2. Ask: "List the decisions, the action items with an owner and a date, and the open questions. Quote the line each one comes from."
  3. Check every name and date against the notes before you send it. AI often gets these wrong.
Watch out

Calls that sound like family

A few seconds of someone's voice from a video is enough for AI to copy it. Scammers use this to call parents and grandparents in a hurry and ask for money. Agree a family safe word today. If a call asks for money, hang up and call back on a number you already know.
